Exclusive Interview with Roxanne Gould
What inspired you to start creating content, and how has your focus evolved over time?
I began creating content as a natural extension of my lifelong work in modeling and well-being. It felt important to share what I’ve learned with other women. Over time, my focus has shifted from showing the outside of my life to inviting women in look the deeper within for their many questions in life. Now I’m far more interested in conversations about intuition, aging with grace, inner confidence, and the authentic stories behind beauty. My content has evolved into a blend of honesty, experience, and encouragement, which is something women can actually use to feel better in their own skin.
How does your age and life experience shape the kind of content you share today?
My age and life experience have become my greatest assets in what I share. I’ve lived enough, lived through challenges enough, and grown enough to speak from a place of sharing my truth rather than performing. Women my age don’t need perfection. We want real conversations, practical wisdom, and a sense of connection and that’s exactly what I try to offer.
What message do you hope to share with women (or men) 45 and older through your platform?
I hope to remind women over 40 that this stage of life is not a decline but an unveiling. You finally know yourself, and that wisdom is a kind of beauty no one can manufacture. I want people to see aging as an empowering and powerful, expansive chapter where confidence comes from within rather than from trying to hold onto youth. My message is that you are allowed to evolve, redefine yourself, and feel radiant in every shade and every season of your life.
What misconceptions about midlife or aging do you want to change through your influence?
One of the biggest misconceptions I want to change is the idea that midlife is a decline and that our choices, beauty, or opportunities somehow shrink. In reality, this is the stage where we become more grounded, more discerning, and more comfortable in our own skin. I also want to counter the belief that aging means fading. If anything, I believe midlife is when your real self finally has room to, and is ready to, breathe and I want people to celebrate that.
Who makes up your core audience, and what kind of community have you built?
My core audience is mostly women in their 40s, 50s, and older who are navigating transitions in identity, style, confidence, and overall well-being. They come to my platform for honesty, inspiration, and guidance that doesn’t talk down to them or pretend aging is something to “fix.” Over time, this has grown into a community of thoughtful, curious women who value inner growth as much as outer beauty. It’s a space where we can be real, supported, and feel encouraged to keep evolving with a healthy sense of curiosity.
What topics or types of content resonate most deeply with your audience?
The topics that resonate most with my audience are anything that blends beauty with meaning, for example, graceful aging, natural transitions, self-confidence, and the emotional side of change. They love when I share personal stories, wisdom from my modeling career, and practical tips that help them feel more at ease in their own skin. Content about hair health, personal style, and self-expression also lands deeply because it’s tied to identity, not vanity. Overall, they respond best to conversations that feel human, relatable, and quietly empowering.
What are some of your favorite brand collaborations, and what made them successful?
Some of my favorite brand collaborations have been with companies that genuinely align with my values such as brands that care about quality, integrity, and uplifting women. The partnerships that stand out most are the ones where the product seamlessly fits into my real life because the products are truly helpful, making it easy to share authentically. When a brand understands my voice and trusts me to speak honestly, the collaboration always performs better. Success, for me, comes from sincerity and a shared commitment to elevating women’s confidence, health and well-being.
How do you decide which brands or partnerships align with your values?
I choose partnerships based on alignment, not hype. If a brand’s values, quality, and messaging don’t naturally match how I live, I won’t promote it. I am looking for companies that uplift women, support healthy aging, and avoid fear-based marketing. At this stage in my life, authenticity matters more than anything, so I only say yes when it feels like a genuine extension of what I already believe in.
What advice would you give to brands looking to collaborate with creators over 45?
My advice is to treat creators over 45 as the powerful, experienced women they are and not as a demographic to “fix.” We value authenticity, depth, and pure products that genuinely enhance our lives, not quick trends. Brands should collaborate with us by listening to our voices, trusting our experience, and speaking to the real concerns of midlife with respect. When a brand understands that women over 45 are discerning, loyal, and influential, the partnership becomes far more meaningful and effective.
How would you describe your personal content style or aesthetic?
My content style is clean, thoughtful, and sophisticated, blending high fashion aesthetics with day-to-day real life wisdom. I lean toward a timeless, classic style rather than trends, with an emphasis on natural beauty, authenticity, and emotional depth. Everything I share has a steady reflective tone that invites people to slow down and think. It’s always style with substance.
What trends do you think brands should pay more attention to when working with mature creators?
Brands should pay closer attention to the growing demand for authenticity, transparency, and age-inclusive messaging. Mature creators want to share real, not scripted, experiences, and audiences trust us because of that honesty. There’s also a major shift toward wellness, simplicity, and sustainable beauty practices that resonate strongly with people over 45. When brands honor depth, real-life usefulness, and genuine representation, they connect with this audience in a much more meaningful way.
What's it like working with Pro-Age Talent?
Working with Pro-Age Talent has been an overall truly positive experience. I appreciate how they value mature creators. Working with them feels respectful and aligned. Their communication is very thoughtful. Overall, it’s been a partnership I’m very grateful for! Thank you so much!
