What inspired you to start creating content, and how has your focus evolved over time?
When I left the business of fashion, I wanted to create a place where women, as we age, would get inspired to embrace aging through the lens of my fashion experience.
How does your age and life experience shape the kind of content you share today?
The older I get (or the longer I live!) the more freedom I feel to explore and live life on MY terms and I want to share and encourage others to do the same. I love learning and seeing new things so I am always open to different kinds of content that I can adapt to my voice.
What message do you hope to share with women (or men) 45 and older through your platform?
Aging is a gift not everyone receives and living with gratitude and joy is a choice everyone can make for the enrichment of their own lives. Age may be a number but it's also a state of mind.
What misconceptions about midlife or aging do you want to change through your influence?
That life stops. That we become irrelevant. That growth stops. That fun stops. That we become different people than we were in our youth. That's just not true! It's only the shell that changes. Who we are at our core: our values, what we loved, what we wore, they merely get adapted to the wonderful new us we become.
Who makes up your core audience, and what kind of community have you built?
I have a loyal and engaging audience of (mostly) women age 45+ who on the younger side, are encouraged and inspired to see a woman (now in her mid 70s) living life — not as an older woman but as a vibrant woman — and many in their 60s and 70s who have been starving for someone their age to talk to THEM!
What topics or types of content resonate most deeply with your audience?
My audience responds most to humor, honesty and sincerity. They love seeing that I’m not perfect, that my home isn’t always perfectly put together and that life doesn’t have to look staged to be beautiful. They appreciate the mix of storytelling, styling tips, and humor that shows we can age with authenticity and grace.
What are some of your favorite brand collaborations, and what made them successful?
I have only just started on this path. I want to work with brands that understand the value of women 45+ and see us as vibrant, active participants in the fashion world and in life — not as an afterthought. The partnerships I’m most excited about are the ones where there’s room for storytelling, for creative input, and for real connection with the audience. Success, for me, means collaboration that feels human.
How do you decide which brands or partnerships align with your values?
For me, alignment begins with authenticity. I want to genuinely connect with a brand’s philosophy and feel proud of what I’m representing. Whether it’s in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle, I seek out partners who value sustainability, inclusivity, and quality over trends. I’m drawn to brands that create with purpose. Timeless well-made pieces and products or experiences that reflect integrity and thoughtfulness. It’s important that anything I align with feels like an extension of the way I live and what I believe in.
What advice would you give to brands looking to collaborate with creators over 45?
Be open. Don’t categorize. Be patient. Don’t make assumptions about what older audiences want — listen to us, involve us, and allow us to help you reach them authentically. Women over 45 are discerning and loyal. When they trust a creator, they engage deeply. Brands who recognize that will see results that go far beyond vanity metrics.
How would you describe your personal content style or aesthetic?
I am not only a content creator, I am an artist, and my feed reflects that. My aesthetic is minimal, refined, and editorial, but always human. I mix high and low fashion, classic silhouettes with bold statements, and always with a wink of humor. My goal is to make people stop scrolling, not because it’s flashy, but because it feels true.
What trends do you think brands should pay more attention to when working with mature creators?
Mature people don’t stop responding to trends, they just interpret them differently. Brands should understand that we love innovation, but we also appreciate substance. There’s a growing appetite for stories, for meaning behind the clothes, product, or experience, for campaigns that show real people living full, interesting lives. The future of fashion is not youth, it’s authenticity.
